Redbox – Affordable Movie Night Solution!

I love Redbox almost as much as I love Netflix. =)  Now through Father’s Day they are offered $0.50 off your second rental.  I used to rent games from Redbox too but for some reason here in the Monterey area they do not offer any PS4 or Xbox One games.  So I rent Blu-rays exclusively now.  The latest rentals that I got are: The Duff and Project Almanac.

I love how you are able to browse through kiosks from the comfort of your computer or phone and reserve the movies you are interested in and pick them up at your convenience. If you don’t mind receiving promotions via text you can sign up via their website and periodically you will receive promotional codes.  Sometimes we get too busy so I like to post my code on Facebook just in case one of my family or friends would like to use it.  Sometimes it’s a free movie rental and sometimes it’s 50% off it varies from promotion to promotion.

Do you use Redbox? What do you think of it?

  1. I’ve never used Redbox before but I see them everywhere in my home town. I’ve often wondered how they worked but the opportunity has never presented itself where I had to use one. Normally, the movies that I own are movies that I know I was going to like because I had already watched them in theaters or at someone else’s house. I’ll have to try one sometime and see how I like it.

  2. I love using Redbox! Recently, I signed up for the rewards program. I have had a lot of free time during the night. Within the last month, I have made 3 rentals. The best part? I get coupons all the time from them with new discounts. It makes addicting sometimes. I have never spent over $3 with Redbox per transaction.
