So today I got up at 5 AM like I usually do but instead of going back home to sleep after dropping off my husband to work I decided to go ahead and get my walk out of the way. I walked a total of 4.87 miles …and I’m not sleepy AND I still have the rest of the day to do whatever. I know it’s difficult to even ‘think’ that early in the morning sometimes let alone expect to function but seriously after you drink a glass of water you’ll be ready to tackle the day.
I think many of us put ourselves in a position where we wait until the very last minute before getting out of bed and therefore end up stressing about getting to work or school on time. We can eliminate this stress factor and wake up even just 30 minutes earlier than usual just to give ourselves a head start. Feel like you have more room to be productive during your day? Seriously, try it – wake up just 30 minutes earlier than you usually do and see how it affects the rest of your day. OK well it’s 9:28AM I guess let me get this apartment cleaning out of the way.
