Books read in 2015

I had installed a separate textarea/widget and somewhere in the process of changing my layout I lost it and my list of books I’ve read so far this year with it.  Thankfully I found out that the library’s website keeps a log of all the books that I’ve checked out!  I was able to create a whole new list and I decided to go ahead and dedicate a single post to it and use this to keep track of my list. 🙂

My goal is to read 50 books in 2015.  I am kind of slacking off I think. I need to read more if I don’t want to cram last minute just to reach my goal. OK so the list below are the book titles and authors that I’ve read… the ones marked with *** are ones that I would highly recommend/I personally really enjoyed.

Mortal Instruments, it’s a series by Cassandra Clare! Excellent read. Also, was that suppose to be Art of War, or Way?

Sharon, it looks like we have similar tastes in literature. I’ve read NOS4A2 by Joe Hill but I haven’t read Horns. I just recently bought that book with some of my birthday money but I haven’t gotten a chance to read it yet. I’ve also read Divergent and Insurgent. I also bought Allegiant and Four with my birthday money but I haven’t gotten to read them yet either. I have so money books to read and catch up on. Right now I am reading the first book in the Hunger Games trilogy and a book called “Deadfall Hotel” by Steve Rasnic Tem. I would recommend you read the “Stoneheart” trilogy by Charlie Fletcher. I loved that trilogy! I have more suggestions if you’d like to hear them.

Wow, you read alot! I’ve read only around two books this summer. The first book you listed seems pretty interesting just from the title. I can recommend you some books, but I’m not sure if you’d like them very much. 1) The Torch Keeper series. I LOVE those books. the third one is supposed to come out pretty soon, (I think). 2) The Legend series by Mari Lu (I think that is how you spell her name?) I’ve only read the first book but it was really good. I plan on purchasing the second soon. Out of those, I’d have to say my favorite book/series is Legend.

I’ve read like only 2 of the ones that you have listed. Divergent and Insurgent, are really good books and the movies are pretty decent in my opinion too.
